Warranty

As a locally owned family business we value customer satisfaction and strive to ensure the best quality of our product and to provide the best customer service we can.

As parts are sourced from different suppliers the warranty on certain aspects of the trailer can vary, however there is often a minimum 12 months warranty on all parts which are faulty and a manufacturers warranty is extended to the customer on all parts wherever possible, provided they meet the criteria set by our suppliers. Warranty commences from the date that the trailer leaves our workshop, including in the case where the trailer is purchased from a boat dealer or third party.

All warranties are classified as back to base meaning any shipping or transport costs involved in returning parts are the responsibility of the trailer owner. It is our preference that we carry out any repair or warranty work wherever possible, however we understand that certain circumstances may prevent this. If a trailer is unable to be brought back to base for repairs or if a customer chooses to seek repairs via a third party a warranty cannot be claimed unless all the parts or materials in question are returned to our premises for our assessment.

Warranty on structural and chassis components vary depending on the type and age of trailer and the nature of its use. Trailers which have been used in a manner which was not advised to us by the customer at time of purchase – such as use off road, on dirt tracks, or unsurfaced roads, and have been damaged because of this use, are not covered under warranty. Unless otherwise specified or requested at the point of sale, our trailers are not considered ‘Off-road’.

For more information on chassis and structural claims, please contact us with a provision of the trailer's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and year of manufacture.

Damages to the trailer incurred through owner misuse, including a lack of maintenance or upkeep are not covered under warranty as they alter the trailers fitness for purpose from the point of sale. Any repairs or replacements that fall under this category are at the cost of the owner.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the upkeep of their trailer, including but not limited to the servicing of brakes, bearings and running gear and the proper securing of their load.

Bearings and seals must be serviced after a minimum of 6 months and proof of service must be provided for bearing and seal related claims, including any claims associated with damage caused to hubs, callipers or axles due to bearing failure. We encourage all trailer users to visually inspect their bearings, seals and other running gear prior to undertaking long trips.

Please note that the above is not an extensive outline of our Warranty terms, for more information please contact us.
